Are you a bold, spiritually vibrant woman in midlife, yearning for adventure and clarity as you embrace the next thrilling chapter of your life? Picture yourself stepping into a sanctuary where your untamed spirit is celebrated, your wild dreams are ignited, and your soul finally finds the space to breathe and shine beyond the clutter of old stories.

The Desert Whispers to Your Soul

As the golden morning sun kisses the horizon, a gentle breeze dances through your window, carrying nature’s symphony of sweet birdsong and rustling leaves. The earthy fragrance of piñon pine and cedar fills the air, a grounding invitation from the desert itself.

Wrapped in the softness of crisp white sheets, you pause to savor the tranquil beauty of simplicity. The world beyond your window feels alive, vibrant, yet calm—its sacred energy a quiet balm for your spirit. In this moment, stillness becomes a source of profound connection.

Your gaze falls upon the meandering Chama River, its shimmering waters carving a path through the welcoming landscape. Your heart stirs with anticipation, imagining the cool touch of the river on your toes, its clear, fresh flow offering a tender embrace. With every ripple, it soothes your spirit, gently replenishing the thirst of your soul and awakening a sense of wonder you’ve long been yearning to feel.

Woman of Power

As the wind dances through your hair, you feel the grounding power of the sacred earth beneath your feet. This land, rich with history, carries the echoes of Native American lives that have flourished here for centuries. Close your eyes—can you sense their stories weaving through the air, connecting you to something far greater than yourself?

In this moment, time dissolves. Past, present, and future merge as you embrace your place in the eternal cycle of life. You feel an unshakable connection to all that was, all that is, and all that is yet to come—a profound alignment with the rhythm of existence.

Clarity washes over you, lighting the path forward. Surrounded by your soul sisters, who bear witness to this transformative moment, you summon the courage to speak your deepest truth. Gratitude swells within you as you realize your life has shifted, forever changed in the most extraordinary way.

Our days “at home” will be easy and inspiring — together we will gather in the gardens for class sessions, movement & meditation.

Nearby is a cool, very old cemetery inviting reflection of life’s great circle. Feel joy and revitalized energy when gazing at the fields of the Purple Adobe Lavendar Farm. Watching the horses in the adjacent field brings a sense of calm and wonder.

You’ll have time to create your vision of this season in your life, lively and purposeful.

Sacred Visit to Santuario de Chimayo

Sacred sites connect us to the greater world, both seen and unseen. This is a time to feel into your purpose and soak in the meaning of your personal sacredness.

Known as one of the most sacred sites in New Mexico, its history stretches back to Spain and even has connections to the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

Each year, thousands of pilgrims walk here over the Easter weekend to get prayers answered, to commune with each other, and to take some blessed holy dirt to heal their aches and pains.

Magic Waters of Ojo Caliente Hot Springs

Where there is water, there is life. Our bodies are made of water and by being wholly immersed in it reminds us of our calling to live our truth — serving the world by caring for ourselves.

These incredible, natural hot springs offer  sacred pools of healing water to rest mind and soul. There are also saunas and even a mud bath to release body toxins.

After our long soak and showers we have reservations at their world-renown Artisian Restaurant for an incredible feast.

Inspiring Painting Class

When in Abiquiu, one must create. Allowing yourself to flow into the creation of art opens the heart, inviting love, peace, and goodness.

Private painting class by a local artist who will help you craft your own Georiga-inspired piece. We will gather at the Abiquiu Inn Art Studio surrounded by inspirational pieces of delicious art.

The Labyrinth of Ghost Ranch

During our Ghost Ranch visit we will hike to their desert labyrinth. With each step walking toward it’s center there is an opportunity to go deep within in a walking meditation seeing life’s chaos with grace, seeing it’s purpose. You’ll immerge from the center outward with a fresh perspective.

Georgia O’Keeffe once lived here and painted the landscapes that circle the ranch. We’ll tour her home, visit the gift shop and maybe even take a horseback ride.

Cooking with Gina Rae la Cerva

Award-winning author, Gina Rae la Cerva, is known for her articles, research and book about food. She teaches the Gastro Obscura workshop  ‘Writing the Food Memoir,” and will prepare a meal with us and share how food connects us to our families, rooted in culture.

“Food connects us to our ancestors, our landscapes, and our bodies. Our relationship to both is complicated, … it can help us to illuminate deeper truths about ourselves.” ~Gina Rae le Cerva

Her best-selling book, “Feasting Wild, In Search of The Last Untamed Food,” is a remarkable celebration of biodiversity, Indigenous and women’s knowledge, our vital connection to nature, and delicious flavors!

She’s a geographer and environmental anthropologist — author and storyteller.

  • How fit do I need to be? At a minimum, you’ll need to be able to walk comfortably for about a mile at a medium pace without assistance.

  • What about extending my stay to explore more? Yes! I’d highly recommend it. If you need recommendations on areas, things to do, and private guides, I can help!

Lisa McIntyre

I am a seeker. I am a teacher.

I’ve always been drawn to the horizon. At two years old, I staged my first escape, toddling off to see what lay beyond the bounds of my little world. That spark of curiosity has guided me ever since, driving a life of exploration, reinvention, and a mission to empower others.

But the road hasn’t always been easy.

My childhood was filled with moments of wonder, and resilience. I carry the scars of sexual abuse—a silent burden that shaped how I see myself and the world. I learned strength early on, though it took me years to fully understand how deeply that experience impacted me.

Adulthood brought its own trials. I married young and, over time I navigated not one, not two, but three divorces. Each one stripped away who I thought I was and challenged me to rebuild.

Instead of shrinking from challenges, I leaned into them with my signature blend grit and optimism. I took care of my children whole-heartedly by building business opportunities around their schedules and needs by becoming an entrepreneur. I built a career in real estate, threw myself into event planning and more — all while nurturing my passion for meaningful experiences and purpose.

By 2022, I found myself at another crossroads. My kids were grown and a quiet voice inside was asking, “What now? Who am I when they’re gone? What’s next? Do I want a partner?”

I then embarked on a solo pilgrimage — the Camino de Santiago. For centuries seekers have walked this path across Spain in search of clarity and purpose. I was no different.

With ample space to think, to feel, and to ask the big questions, something shifted. I realized that I’m not alone in this. Many women are facing similar challenges. That moment of clarity set me on a new path of designing transformative retreats for women that reflect my joyful, open-hearted approach to life.

Knowing that we are all teachers and students, a safe space is created to share; I invite women to ask bold questions, dream big and explore new possibilities.

I want women to know that they are not alone. We all have our scars and crossroads, but we also have an incredible capacity to grow, evolve, and thrive. Life isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about embracing the journey with curiosity, courage, and a whole lot of heart.

With that I remind you, that no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve faced, there’s always another adventure waiting on the horizon — and the courage to embrace it is already within you.

Will you join me?
